24-Hour Air Temperature and Relative Humidity for NearSys Station, 25 August 2019

The temperature and relative humidity sensor are shielded from direct exposure from rain, to an extent. At around 3:00 PM, the sensor and its housing got doused with water from a lawn sprinkler. Hence, the brief change in temperature and relative humidity.

24-Hour Photometer for NearSys Station, 25 August 2019

I placed the LED Photometer in the wrong location this week. So the photometer got sprayed with the lawn sprinkler during one of its watering sessions. The sky didn't actually go dark at 2:00 PM.

 

Visibility for NearSys Station, 25 August 2019

The UAVSonde was launch in the morning and hovered at an altitude of 400 feet AGL. According to the images returned, the visibility was in excess of 50 miles.

24-Hour Photometer for NearSys Station, 18 August 2019

Odd spikes again in the ultraviolet. I wonder if this is seasonal? The detectors are LEDs and do have some directionality in their sensitivity. The 10:30 AM drop in green intensity is unusual also.

24-Hour Temperature and Relativity Humidity for NearSys Station, 18 August 2019

Nothing unusual on the 18th. But the temperature did drop low enough to reach 100% relative humidity shortly before sunrise.

Visibility for NearSys Station, 18 August 2019

I launched the UAV in windless conditions and beautifully blue skies. From the images returned, the visibility in the western Treasure Valley was in excess of 50 miles.

Air Quality for NearSys Station, 9 - 16 August 2019

Air quality was reasonably good this week. Still no major fires close to NearSys Station this summer.
